Rumours coming from the White House surroundings : Bush could be severely defeated (53/47 %) ?!
We all pray here (even those who don't believe in God !) for USA to be back amongst the World community tomorrow morning...
Now we can say it, as most of you have already voted (so we do not take the risk to make him loose !) : 90 % of french hope strongly Kerry will win !(and I think the figures are about the same everywhere in Europe).
That will not mean your guys will be back home from Irak very soon...but they will have a hope not be there again in 2010...
In all cases (even if Kerry looses), a special thanks for New Yorkers, the largest victims of terrorism and, in spite of it, still the lighthouse of democracy in your country.
Good luck America !

Well, I just hope that whoever wins, wins decisively. I'm really getting tired of 'selected, not elected' rhetoric. I'm not looking forward to 4 more years of that -- from either side.

I like Henley's take: SOMEONE will win relatively handily; we just don't know who yet!!! Roll a quarter down a yard stick, and its going to fall off at some point-- one side or the other.

Here's the problem: Bush has spent four years stoking feelings about him that are just irrational; frankly, I'll concede that Bush-haters are even more irrational than Bush-supporters!

I look forward to a president we just can't get that excited about. And I agree with Kathy: if it is to be Bush, let it at least be decisively.

Imagine my surprise when I picked up the New York Post this morning, and the headline said: GEPHARDT WINS.
I guess next time the Dems should nominate an actual wooden post.
